FLAG invests in high quality natural resources and real estate funds characterized by experienced sponsors with a specific expertise in a particular asset type, industry or geography.  FLAG focuses on management teams that possess deep operational expertise to add value to their investments at the asset level.  Often these managers are difficult to find, diligence and access, rendering the strategy ideal for an outsourced approach. 

FLAG has been investing in real assets since 2005.  Our investment team has experience investing in and performing diligence on primary partnerships, secondary fund interests and co-investment opportunities in real assets.

Asset / Property Types & Geography

FLAG considers managers located across the globe.  Natural resources related sub-asset classes of particular interest include energy, energy infrastructure and other resources related funds, including timber, agriculture and metals / mining.  In real estate, FLAG invests in opportunistic and value-add funds that have primary underlying property types including office, industrial, retail, multifamily and hospitality.  A secondary focus is funds that provide limited exposure to niche property types, such as medical, storage, university, and specialty leisure.
